When shopping for any season our goal is to bring you the very best in children’s fashion, and this spring was no different. One of our new favorite’s from Paris this season is Bonton. Thomas Cohen and his wife Irene learnt everything from style, know how, and perfecting cuts from the esteemed Bonpoint in 1999.
In May 2001, they brought there vision of basic child rythym with an offbeat spirit of color and quality to the new company of Bonton. They opened their first store at rue de Grenelle in France and have been growing ever since.
In addition to passing trends, Bonton’s collections are suitable basics that appear to be straight out of a perfectly organized closet, broken down into basic crew necks or turtlenecks, long or short sleeves… and sprinkled with color and fantasy. The materials emphasize linen, brushed cotton, canvas and thick veil, fleece and velour… Here at Posh we are proud to welcome Bonton into our store season after season.
Another family born company; anyone who knows Lamantine knows that the name is synonymous with exquisite sophistication. Sabrina Veldeo grew up in Italy and studied fashion in Milan. She then moved to Paris to start her own brand,; Lamantine.
Sabrina draws inspiration from the name of her daughter and childhood pictures of her mother who had an uncommon refinement. The highlights of the collection are beautiful silks and taffetas in soft colors like peach and ivory, and details like ruffle sleeves and pin tucked hems. Lamantine never disappoints!
Lamantine and Bonton are just two of the many brands we offer in our shop. What other brands would you like to see reviewed here at our blog? Let us know in the comment section!
